Thanks for volunteering at CID!
Volunteer Opportunities
Without the countless hours our
volunteers dedicate to our success, CID truly could not accomplish what we do
each year. We have opportunities for volunteers to help at our fundraising
events and opportunities for volunteers to join us for other school
activities. Below is a complete listing of our regular needs.
Volunteers serve as
role models for our students and we encourage applicants of all backgrounds to
apply including those who are deaf and hard of hearing who use spoken language.
All positions require a volunteer application. Please refer to each volunteer description for additional qualifications and
requirements.
Classroom Assistance and Service Learning Opportunities
We occasionally need assistance in the classrooms and are happy to provide service learning opportunities for high school and college students.
Volunteers must be 15 years of age or older and complete a background check for this position. For this position, volunteers will be provided with a tour of CID and training.
Please contact Michelle Gremp at 314.977.0130 if you have questions about service learning opportunities.
Ultimate Picnic
Help with the school's largest fundraiser of the year. This year's Ultimate Picnic will be on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at The Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Saint Louis. For more than 17 years, CID has hosted this annual auction and dinner with the help of a large and active committee and volunteers. With your help, the event will be a night to remember.
We need volunteers to help with event set up and on the night of the event. Help keep an eye on auction items, assist with the auction, clean-up and more. Many hands make light work!
Event volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and training will be provided.
Contact Bree DeGraw at 314.977.0163 if you have questions about volunteering for the Ultimate Picnic.
Please complete a Volunteer Application and submit it to Michelle Gremp by e-mail or mail if you are interested in volunteering at CID.
