The CID Ultimate Picnic is our largest single fundraiser. The
Ultimate Picnic began in 1993 and was an actual picnic celebration
featuring picnic baskets in a fun outdoor setting at CID. In the years
since, the fundraising event has transformed into a festive gala
featuring cocktails and fine dining, unique auction items in our Live
and Silent auctions, a performance by CID students and live
entertainment. The event also features our Top Hat Scholarship auction
where guests have the opportunity to give all eligible students the
opportunity to attend CID, regardless their families' ability to pay.
In
2011, the Ultimate Picnic raised over $221,000 for CID programs and
over $62,000 of that was raised for our Top Hat Scholarship Club. Thank
you for providing our students learning opportunities that will serve
them for a lifetime! This year, our upscale Western theme will round up more
than 300 elite locals for a fun-filled celebration at our Best of the
West Ultimate Picnic.
